Biography

Aaron Bezzina is a Maltese Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1991. Numerous key galleries and museums such as Austrian Cultural Forum, New York have featured Aaron Bezzina's work in the past.

Residencies

2015 Artist’s Development Programme organised by the European Investment Bank, Luxembourg. Mentored by British artist Darren Almond.

2017 Snehta, Athens, Greece, The recipient of the inaugural Blitz-Snehta Residency, the programme also involved a curated solo exhibition by the end of the stay.

2019 RigenerArte, Treviso, Italy. A residency organised by the Benetton Foundation and UNIC&F involving the regeneration of ex-industrial spaces through art interventions.

2019  AMuSE – Dusetos Cultural Centre, Lithuania. A residency organised by the Malta Society of Art (co-founded by the European Commission) involving four international institutions and sixteen artists from four different countries. The aim of the project is to encourage contemporary art practices which tackle a multi-sensory approach.
