Biography
“No matter how often you go into the bush, the experience and sightings are never the same. You wait patiently, hoping to be at the right place at the right time, that the animals will show themselves. Once they do you become part of it all, witnessing something one might not ever imagine. If only for a few moments”.

Travelling has always been a big part of Michael’s life, which led him to explore all continents.  Through his love of adventure, his hobby for photography grew into a profession. From around 25 years of age, he took travel photography up seriously, capturing memories and moments for himself. Encouraged to showcase his photography, he decided to share it with others.

As a photographer Michael captures moments in time, that instil emotion in those who view them. He allows us to get lost into and be part of his adventures, while we enter his world and witness parts of what he’s experienced.

From a young age, he was always interested in animals, their behaviour, their calmness and mysterious actions. It was only when he visited Kenya back in 2018,  did he realise the connection he had to wildlife and its rawness and how he had to capture it through photography.

With a focus on wildlife photography and passion for adventure he shares with others, sightings that are hard to see, let alone capture and only with patience and time in the wild is one lucky enough to experience.
