the study of spaces and form is extended through the exploration of light and shadow, especially as captured through photography of her home island Malta.

Jade Zammit has graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Malta. The love for the study of spaces and form is extended through the exploration of light and shadow, especially as captured through photography of her home island Malta.

This playful relationship of contrasts is explored in her work, more often than not executed through monochromatic lines. Whilst her subjects vary in content and range from landscapes to figure studies, she is mostly inclined to observing people in motion and the human form.

Although very new to the scene, with a return to her drawing during her solo travels in Australia, she has since her return home, made her debut with two collective exhibitions, both of which were held at Desko, Valletta, Malta.
